Gruene Mansion is the only place we stay when we come to Gruene. It is so relaxing and the staff is very helpful and friendly! I could not ask for better… We love sitting out on the porch of one of the Guest Houses.
You will not get bored. Fredricksburg is about an hour and half away for more shopping.

Gruene Mansion Inn made our anniversary trip so special! The staff was so responsive and friendly, always making us feel taken care of. The rooms are full of charm with comfy beds and pretty river views. And you can’t beat the location—right by Gruene Hall, shops, and restaurants. Perfect place for a getaway!

This was just what we needed! We came in town to eat at Gruene River Grill. The Mansion was immediately next door. From our room, we walked maybe 2 minutes to Gruene Hall, 1 minute to Gruene Grove and 3 minutes to the Gristmill River Restaurant. Everything is right there! Lovely property. The pantry food and service is wonderful too!
